GCPTA NEWS:  2008-2009

The Midwesterns, one of the longest running tournaments in the country, is planning to host over 200 participants for a weekend of great paddle and parties January 16th - 18th, 2009. Visit the Midwesterns Home for more information.

Cincinnati will be proud host to the 2009 Platform Tennis Nationals.

The dates of the Nationals will be March 5-8. Cincinnati will be introducing a new format for the Men's Nationals this year. We are announcing this now so players can make arrangements in advance.

Schedule of Events:

• Wednesday, March 4- Men's and Women's Presidents Cup check in.
• Thursday, March 5- Men's and Women's Presidents Cup / Women's Main draw check in.
• Friday, March 6- Women's Main draw. (Morning start) / Men's main draw 128 and
  64 and 1st rd. consolation rounds start after lunch. Men's check-in Friday night.
• Saturday, March 7- Men's Main Draw / Women's Semis (am) followed by Finals.
• All Men's Quarters will be scheduled for 3:00.Rockin' party Saturday evening.
• Sunday, March 8- Men's Semis and Finals

MEN, PLEASE NOTE THE NEW FORMAT!

• Cincinnati - 20 Min. (CVG)
• Dayton- 50 min (DAY)
• Columbus, Indianapolis and Louisville - 1.5-2 hrs.
