The tennis courts at Washington Park were mostly vacant Saturday, but there was a lot of activity at the four adjacent platform tennis courts. That's not unusual since platform tennis is a cold-weather game. In fact, enthusiasts say the perfect time to play is an overcast day when the mercury is hovering around the 20-degree mark.
