Was it the change of location, or something else?  At last year’s War at the Shore, they lost their first match.  This year, with the War moved away from the Shore, they didn’t lose a single match!  Congratulations to Aila Main and Mike Stulac on their hard-fought victory over Judy Takach and Bob Winchester.  They claimed the championship with an entertaining 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 battle to cap a full day of play to open the 2006-2007 APTA tournament season. photos, story, results
