The Men's League Classic - sponsored by the New Jersey Men's Platform Tennis Association - always features 128 teams and a full day of paddle and food and fun! This year, there was the added attraction of an all day snow storm which was strong enough to overcome many of the court heaters. Despite the obstacles, the tournament was played as scheduled, with main draw finals on Monday night. Congrats to Anthony Cosimano & Jeff Hipkins on defending their title, this time over Steve DeRose & Tim McDougald in a 3 set thriller. See the complete main draw and some photos

Men vs Mother Nature
South Orange, NJ
The New Jersey Men battled a crowded schedule and Mother Nature to pull off another successful event. A snow storm that continued through the morning forced a change of plans...and the tournament began with lunch, followed by the first rounds of play. Pat Kelly and Nathan LeFevre fought their way back from a set and a break down to take the crown by the score of 4-6, 7-6, 6-3. The Men's 120+ Division was won by Ivan Harlow and Jeff Zak, while the 50+ division will be completed at a later date.
