Merritt Parkway (Route 15) North and South - Merritt Parkway to exit 37 in New Canaan. From exit 37, take a LEFT off the exit ramp onto South Avenue (Route 124). Continue north approximately 1/3 mile to driveway on left. Go through the stone pillars into Waveny Park. Follow the driveway up to the main house and the parking lot on your left.

I-95 North and South, take LEFT off exit 13 onto Post Road, follow to Darien until you see Darien Firehouse (on left). Take a RIGHT at light (Route 124) and follow Route 124 to New Canaan. After you pass over the Merritt Parkway, you will see the Waveny Park sign at the driveway entrance (stone pillars on left). Take a LEFT into the driveway and follow the road up to the main house and parking lot.

The Town of New Canaan operates four Platform Tennis Courts in Waveny Park. The courts have been relocated within Waveny Park to a new location near the Lapham Road entrance. Access to the courts remains within Waveny Park on the road leading to the Lapham Community Center.

All players must have a current season permit to use the courts. The platform tennis season begins in October and ends in May. Reservations are required for the use of the courts and may be made up to two days in advance. Guests may play with a permit holder present. The telephone number for the Waveny Platform Tennis Courts is TBA. Contact the Recreation Department for further information at 594-3600.

WAVENY PLATFORM TENNIS PERMITS AND FEES
The Platform Tennis Courts will open for the season in late October through mid-April.
Season Permits
Any bona fide New Canaan resident or town employee will be entitled to a platform tennis permit upon application to the Recreation Department Office, submission of satisfactory proof of residency or payroll stub and payment of the required fee. A new photo identification system is in effect. A photo of each individual will be taken at membership registration. This photo ID card must be presented to the court attendant prior to play. Permit card are not transferable. The lost pass/reprint fee is $5.
Adult Permit
A $55.00 adult permit (age 18 through 61) allows full privilege of using the courts.
Senior Citizen Permit
A Senior Citizen permit, allowing full privilege of using the courts, costs $35.00 and will be issued to anyone 62 and over.
Youth Permit
Any youth (age 17 and under) may play without a permit, but may not reserve a court. If a youth wishes to reserve a court, a $15.00 permit must be purchased.
Guest Fees
The charge for an adult guest is $5.00 per hour and must be paid to the attendant prior to play. Guests may only play with a permit holder present on the court.
