New Durham, NH Camp Birch Hill www.campbirchhill.com now has paddle! In an effort to help grow our sport Camp Birch Hill has become the first summer camp to put in two paddle courts and a teaching center. Paddle will be added to their list of 50 activities to learn, play, and have fun with over the summer. There will be 2 pro's to help get the program going and paddle tennis on the map. read more

Rich Morell states, "The thought is to teach the campers in a very nurturing atmosphere with the weather more conducive to teaching not playing. We are a totally elective program and see almost 700 children a summer. Many of the campers belong to country clubs that have courts to play but are put off by learning in the cold weather. We hope they get the paddle bug at camp and all of the basics so they can bring their new skills to the the courts and enjoy the game for life".
