“Glorious” Gloria Dillenbeck Dodd was the first Executive Director of the APTA. On February 8, at Canoe Brook Country Club, she became the 65th member of the APTA Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame Chairman Bob Brown and Hall of Famer Patty Hogan were on hand for the induction ceremony. In her acceptance speech Gloria stressed that in platform tennis being a good player is not as important as competing well and giving back to the game. Photo |
