OMAHA, Neb., March 21, 2014 – The #1 leading platform tennis company, Viking, announces the launch of the first ever, multi-region summer league as one additional step to help grow the sport across the U.S.. Registrations have already flooded in since the announcement that landed the week of Nationals. As the Official Product Sponsor of the APTA, Viking has focused efforts this season on adding elements to events as well as plans for the introduction of new products to the game that generate a continued excitement around the sport. The Viking Low Bounce League is another step the company is taking to allow more opportunity for current and potentially new players to get involved in the sport on a more consistent basis.
The Viking Low Bounce League will kickoff at the end of April and finish in mid-June. Regions hosting leagues will include New Jersey, Rochester, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Boston, Cleveland and Westchester, NY. League registrations will be supported through paddlepro.com along with individual league pages by region for ongoing scores, league notes and updates. With support of the APTA, Viking is excited about the inaugural year for this league. “The Viking Low Bounce League is an exciting venture for us and more importantly, we hope will be an asset to the sport as a whole.
